Today is also a cultural and touristic patrimony, thanks to the Interpretation of the Lighthouses of the Mediterranean Center, located in the same lighthouse. The Center is designed to explain what lighthouses have meant throughout history.

Portlligat, a bay inside the nature reserve of Cap de Creus, Costa Brava

Portlligat is a small bay located in the heart of Cadaqués. The small bay is sheltered from the Mediterranean Sea by a small island. Moreover, the place is popular because retains a small fishing port.

Also, it is internationally known because Salvador Dali had his residence there. Currently it is the house-museum of the artist. Salvador Dali immortalized this spot on the Costa Brava with his painting, where it seems time has stopped.
